5 Books (that are not my book) to Gift This Year

Want to know what book to get your loved one (besides mine) this holiday?

Here's some of my favorites:

‍1) Starsight *book 2/3* by Brandon Sanderson.

Came out 11/26. Is amazing so far, as I'm roughly an hour in to the audiobook. Spaceships and a strong female lead.

2) Way of Kings *book 1/10* by Brandon Sanderson.

‍As of this writing, the whole Stormlight Archives are on sale for $3 a piece, probably because of the release of Starsight. Big plot, big swords, lots of cool magic.

3) Show Your Work by Austin Kleon.

‍Something else I'm reading right now, and finding rather inspiring on the work/creativity front.

4) In the Fog by Andrew Brandt.

I went to the release party last night, and can't help but try to help a fellow author. There's mystery and thrills up in this one. We even had beer and pictures to prove it.

5) The Burning White by Brent Weeks.

‍This one came out early November, it's the 5th in the series, and it's so dang good. Go get them all. Color magic system with lots of great character arcs.
